Research shows that starting at age 5, many girls develop self-limiting beliefs based on their gender; this is called the dream gap. To help close the gap, Barbie launched You Can Be Anything – a first-of-its-kind series of inspiring, interactive, and educational content to inspire the next generation.
The continuation of the You Can Be Anything Series aimed to:
Reach children aged 6-10, while engaging parentsInspire young girls
Generate additional media and social buzz around the Barbie brand purpose
Capitalize on the success of the initial four episodes
Episodes were hosted by Barbie herself, blending interactive discussions with kids and role models, exclusive Barbie-animated content, engaging activities, musical performances, interactive quizzes, and more.
